Getting Wet:
Sex & Water

By Jeff & Kris Booth

We both love water. Long sensuous baths. Sharing a shower. Soaking in a natural hot spring. Water can be healing and relaxing, and a delightful environment in which to play.

For actual sex, though, water can be rather drying, as contrary as that might seem. It is not a very good lubricant, and tends to dilute your natural lubrication. One of the advantages of silicone based lubes is that they stay wet, even in water. This makes having sex in the bath or shower much easier. We don't recommend penetration in public pools, as you don't know where that water has been.
