are a lot of different designs, but they all follow the same basic concept.
Some are a series of equal sized ribs, and others are in the pyramid shape
of a butt plug, as in the picture. Some newer models are even more free
form.
The concept behind ribbed anal probes is different from either butt plugs or regular probes. Instead of keeping these in place as with a butt plug, or fucking someone with them as you would with a probe, you slide these in very slowly, allowing the anus to expand and contract around the different ribs. With the pyramid shapes where the ribs get larger, you'll want to take a little more time as you progress from rib to rib, giving them time to get more aroused and become increasingly receptive to each larger rib.
